Five new Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Creating Artistic Ideas: Interactive Resources are available on the KY Learning Hub! The KY Learning Hub is Kentucky’s centralized platform for high-quality professional learning opportunities that support educators across the Commonwealth.

These new self-paced courses for dance, media arts, music, theatre and visual arts are designed to support teachers when implementing a high-quality, vibrant student learning experience aligned to the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) for Visual and Performing Arts.  

Each course includes the instructional sequence outlined in the teacher notes document, embedded companion videos and an accompanying note catcher to capture thinking throughout each module.

Detailed procedures and all links, handouts, printables and graphics needed to successfully implement each segment of a learning experience aligned to the identified standard are included.
